Ottimo plugin, gratis, e fa praticamente tutto

By dizplay on May 23, 2025

Bravi!

Really Good But...

This is a really good and comprehensive newletter tool. The constant, constant updates gets a bit old though. Everytime I login to WP, which is multiple times daily, there's another update. They sure like to interrupt your workflow. It must not be that stable on the backend.

Great

I've been using the Newsletter plugin for several years on a couple of websites and apart from a few niggles, here and there, this plugin has served me well. I particularly love the 'lists' feature whereby you can 'group' subscribers together.

A good solid plugin, but not without flaws.

I've used the paid version of this plugin for about 5 years on multiple websites. It is the best choice if you want to keep your users' info in one ecosystem (Wordpress) and send all of your emails from your website. These are valuable things to be able to do. Overall it is a very robust tool and has quite a lot of options for extending it's capabilities. There is a vast database of documentation to help you along installing and using it and I have had little reason to contact support. It's got all the bells and whistles you need to manage a robust mailing list.

The areas where this plugin falls short is UX design and it's email designer. Both are incredibly behind the times in mass mailing tools. The back-end of managing lists and subscribers is pretty clunky and dated, but usable. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the email designer: It's really behind the times in both design capability (There's no reason there should be a poorly executed plugin for multi-column layout, it should be a standard feature and not fields on a plugin. And, background images aren't supported even though they are standard in marketing email. (There are requests for this feature but the developer has shot them down) ) and also usability. It's also very buggy. I can't tell you how many times I've spent a long time writing an email and suddenly it's wiped out for unknown reasons or adding a block from the list of components wipes out the draft altogether. It really needs an autosave.

Overall it's a good usable plugin if it's important to you to keep all of your marketing work under the roof of your website, just be sure to hit that save button often if you're writing an involved email.

Great free plugin

Does its job wonderfully well. Thanks!

Bizarre and confusing

Couldn't get the plugin to generate a list with custom fields. Spent over 30 minutes using ChatGPT literally giving step by step instructions. Would only display email + name fields on Testing pages I made. Didn't want to use as a Widget. So couldn't get the shortcode to just add a form to a simple page where it showed the custom fields I made. Very odd configuration and not good to use in my view. Waste of 30+ mins.

Best free plugin

Great Plugin

Very useful plugin for my clients, easy to use and customise. One area for improvement would be to allow more dynamic customisation in the builder.
