I’m writing to share my deep disappointment with the recent experience I’ve had with your support team and licensing process.

I reached out several times for assistance and was redirected to the wrong link to upgrade my license. The website itself is confusing—package names are not clearly distinguished, and I pointed out that the so-called “Basic Pro” was actually just “Basic,” not Pro at all. I purchased under the impression I’d be receiving Pro features (like hashtag filters), only to discover I wasn’t.

When I attempted to upgrade, I was asked to pay the full price again instead of just the difference. I reached out again for help, emphasizing that I want to use the tool, but instead of receiving guidance, my entire subscription was abruptly cancelled—without any communication. That’s not just frustrating, it’s alarming.

As someone with dyslexia, I was simply pointing out the pricing/package distinction in good faith and asking for help. Instead, I feel dismissed and penalized. This is both discouraging and unnecessarily stressful, especially since I still want to use the tool.

Please look into reinstating my subscription and providing a proper path to the Pro version at the appropriate upgrade cost. I hope we can resolve this quickly—because I do value your product, but this experience has left me feeling unheard and disrespected.

Easy to set up, only had to enter the Instagram login to create the connection. Free version has a good variety of display options, defaults work for most situations.

The plugin is exactly what I need. Easy to navigate, easy to use. Highly recommend.

I was looking for something minimal that would just show my instagram feed on my blog. This is the best and easiest one I could find to make it happen. Thank you.

I recently integrated the Smash Balloon Social Photo Feed plugin into my WordPress site, and it’s a great addition! The plugin works seamlessly and is well-designed, making it easy to display Instagram feeds. However, I encountered a small issue due to the Content Security Policy (CSP) settings on my server. After some troubleshooting, I resolved the issue by adding the following line to the CSP settings:

connect-src 'self' https://connect-ig.smashballoon.com;

This modification allowed the plugin to work properly, enabling it to connect to Instagram and display the feed without issues. Additional Notes:

• The same line was added under the CSP settings in my server’s NGINX configuration, located at:
  /etc/nginx/nginx.conf.

Recommendation:
This is a very reliable plugin for showcasing Instagram content. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants a clean, professional, and smooth integration of Instagram feeds. Plus, it's very robust when handling CSP configurations!

Content-Security-Policy (CSP) is the name of a HTTP response header that modern browsers use to enhance the security of the document (or web page). The Content-Security-Policy header allows you to restrict which resources (such as JavaScript, CSS, Images, etc.) can be loaded, and the URLs that they can be loaded from.

J'ai récemment intégré le plugin Smash Balloon Social Photo Feed sur mon site WordPress, et c’est un excellent ajout ! Le plugin fonctionne sans accroc et est bien conçu, ce qui facilite l’affichage des flux Instagram. Cependant, j'ai rencontré un petit problème dû aux paramètres de la Politique de Sécurité de Contenu (CSP) sur mon serveur. Après quelques ajustements, j’ai résolu le problème en ajoutant la ligne suivante dans les paramètres CSP :

Cette modification a permis au plugin de fonctionner correctement, en permettant une connexion à Instagram et l'affichage du flux sans aucun problème. Notes supplémentaires :

  /etc/nginx/nginx.conf.

Recommandation :

This is my second time contacting Smash Balloon's customer support about an issue, and both times they have promptly resolved it for me. I am impressed - better customer support than many of the paid themes and plugins I use.
