I previously used another great SMTP plugin, albeit paid, for my client projects. I switched to using FluentSMTP recently and am impressed by it. I like all you get at the price tag but also the additional features such as real time alerts being and the ability to easily resend an email.

The shortcoming? It offers a "Fallback Connection" but that fallback/second connection cannot have the same from address as the primary connection. When do you need a fallback connection? When the primary one fails, but it's a backup connection and should come from the same "From" address.

Also, the ability to route connections based on which program is sending it would be very good. (Another major, paid, WP SMTP plugin does exactly this). So, emails send through, say, Amazon for all emails except if they come from an abandoned cart plugin which routes through, say, Sendgrid. This allows us to keep transactional and marketing messages separated which maintains our transactional sending reputation.

This is a great alternative but falls short in these areas.

Честно, я мучилась с настройкой почты на сайте несколько недель. За это время я перепробовала кучу плагинов, испортила себе нервы, потратила часы и даже заболела гриппом. Две недели я лежала больная, но даже тогда продолжала пытаться разобраться. И снова мучилась.

Я уже думала, что проблема во мне — что у меня кривые руки, неправильный мозг, а может, и хостинг никуда не годится. Даже звёзды на небе, казалось, были против меня.

Но когда я уже почти сдалась, я нашла этот плагин. 3 минуты! Три минуты, и всё заработало. Простая настройка, понятный интерфейс, никакого лишнего — только результат.

Разработчики, вы просто спасли меня! Вы сэкономили мои нервы, время и вернули мне веру в людей и технологии. Вы заслуживаете не только все звёзды на платформе, но и отдельной награды за то, что делаете мир лучше.

I've used other plugins which ask you to upgrade. This one works really well for cpanel e-mail. Settings is much easier and faster than other SMTP plugins. Yuge thank you to the developers.

The worst part about the other plugins is, the free version doesn't work. One needs to subscribe to other services like Brevo to make it work. Then the plugin and the other services constantly ask you to upgrade. For a marketing guy like me, it's a turn off.

Excellent plugin, I use it on all my websites.

Fluent SMTP offers effective message delivery, is simple to operate, and regularly updated.

Edited: it seems that Fluent SMTP nor WpVivid didn't really checked if indeed the plugins are not compatible; it was actually an issue from my side; nonetheless, I feel that they both (Fluent SMTP and WpVivid) should be more attentive; I've therefore change my review rating from 1 star to 4 stars.

Before adding the 1 star review I've posted this issue on the support page -> MainWP, WpVivid Pro backup and Fluent STMP but nobody answered.

Very good plugin overall but too bad it doesn't work with the reporting function of WpVivid.com
