I can't even get it to recognize my page or load correctly. All I get is a

Error Something went wrong, please try again.

I've uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared cache, tried the support link and nothing but the red error message.

Worst Plugin Ever – Avoid at All Costs

By isaacureta on August 29, 2025

I truly wish someone had warned me not to install this piece of junk.

What it did was disconnect my existing pixel from all my ads and even deleted it, making it directly inaccessible. While I can still access it through other means, I can no longer create or update new ads using my previous pixel.

To make matters worse, Facebook’s support team has no idea how to fix this issue.

This is literally the worst plugin I have ever come across, and to anyone reading this: DO NOT INSTALL IT.

Plugin working but not tested with WooCommerce regularly.

Bad Update

By kleineauszeit on July 17, 2025

I’ve connected my WooCommerce store properly using the official Facebook for WooCommerce plugin. All products are synced and appear correctly in the catalog. The links are valid, and everything is configured exactly as required.

However, when users click on any product from my Facebook Shop, they get the error: “This listing is no longer available.”

The products are clearly available and visible on my website — but Facebook fails to display them properly. This makes the whole Shop experience on Facebook useless and misleading for customers.

I've tried resyncing, checking visibility settings, using the Facebook Debugger — nothing works. There’s no clear reason for this, and no proper support from Facebook to solve it.

Extremely frustrating experience. If you rely on product visibility through Facebook or Instagram, beware — the integration is unreliable and breaks without explanation.

Woo is supposed to have a lot better quality control over plugin in their marketplace. They are getting sloppy recently.

V3.5.2: This plugin had ONE JOB: Enable me to run Facebook ads set to Purchase Events. But the plugin does not register live purchases, so I cannot set up or run a Facebook ad how I want it. I have wasted three days and money on Facebook ads trying to get this sorted, I cannot believe such a bug-infested non functional plugin can exist... Is anyone in the company even testing it before releasing it or are you just relying on users reporting bugs as your means of testing??

Here are just some of the things that worked fine with the Meta Pixel plugin and not with this plugin:

Purchase Events
Meta Pixel Helper Chrome Extension (Only detects the pixel is present, not any activity on the page- and the pixel was not even present in the post-purchase thank-you page!)
Facebook Test Events Tool

Additionally, once you have run through the wizard there are no useful settings in the plugin page to try and resolve problems, only "delete connection".

Disaster of a plugin

By jorlar1 on June 5, 2025

Hard to believe this is an official Facebook plugin. Releasing updates that crashes sites is truly horrible. Also they are slow to update the plugin, causing warning messages on every admin page.
